Description
13th Annual Lecturship of the East Tennessee School of Preaching and Missions
There is a great famine in our world today. It is a famine that affects our very souls and will mean our eternal ruin if it is not corrected. It is a famine of the Word of God. Millions of people in our land and around the world know little or nothing of the Bible, God's holy Word. Yet this Book is the only sure guide to Heaven. It is our purpose to train men who are well versed in God's sacred Book and capable of teaching it to others. In order to expand our efforts to feed the starving souls of mankind with the Bread of Life, we host an annual lectureship dealing with great and vital lessons from the Scriptures. This book centers our studies on six of the General Epistles, I, II Peter, I, II, III John and Jude. These brief, but rarely known, books form an essential part of God's revealed will to man. Some of our most effective and faithful men have prepared chapters covering every verse of each of these epistles. In addition, there are sermon outlines on many of the passages of these epistles which should prove helpful to teachers and preachers in presenting God's Word to others.
