Description
What if we radically restored first-century faith and practice in our own time and culture? Smith pleads for a more complete restoration by exploring the areas of youth ministry, elders, the Lord's Supper, gathered worhsip, and the Christian lifestyle.
In his most challenging book yet, F. LaGard Smith continues to probe God's Word and our world, as in his previous books: "The Cultural Church", "Male Spiritual Leadership", "Baptism--The Beliver's Wedding Ceremony", and "Who Is My Brother?" He has also edited "The Narrated Bible" and "The Daily Bible", and shared his meditative reflections in "Meeting God in Quiet Places". Smith is Scholar in Residence For Christian Studies at Lipscomb University.
