Praying with Jesus Study Guide

Imagine talking with the president. What would you say? "It would be something you'd never forget," James Banks says, "But isn't talking with God is far greater privilege than that?" In this 6-part study, Banks invites you to the greatest conversation of your life: an ever-deepening interaction with the God who created you and loves you. Prayer isn't easy, but Banks uses biblical examples-from prayers of praise to "wrestling" prayers-to show us how we can "pray without ceasing" and build up our faith. Each session tackles practical issues, such as unanswered prayers or the challenge of making time for prayer in our fast-paced culture. A companion to the thought-provoking DVD Praying with Jesus, this study is ideal for you and your friends to deepen your love relationship with God. Book jacket.
